The Ruins of Detroit, by Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre

An amazing collection of the ruins of Detroit by Photographers Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre. I spent some time as a kid going to clubs and shows in Detroit. These photos capture a whole other side of the city. The pair have a book and a documentary that accompanies the images.

Unnatural Characters

Oleg Duryagin’s portraits are real but, then he digitally manipulates them into otherworldly beings.

Kohei Yoshiyuki

If you’re out in LA, stop by M+B gallery to catch Kohei Yoshiyuki’s photography show The Park. The images taken of voyeurs watching people have sex in Tokyo parks in the 70s are engaging. You have a little bit of time to see this, as The Park will be up until the 24th of April.

Cuban Television Sets

This is a fascinating set of photographs by LA-based Simone Lueck.  That first shot above seems pulled straight from a David Lynch Movie.
