Openings & Parties: Roy Nachum – Open Your Eyes

It’s almost a guarantee that if a gallery puts on a show in the Meatpacking district it will be a BabeFest. Such was the case with Roy Nachum’s latest show with Joseph Nahmad Contemporary at 450 West 14th. Total BabeFest.

Openings & Parties: Karen Kilimnik at the Brant Foundation Art Study Center

Yesterday saw the opening party for a new exhibition by Karen Kilimnik at The Brant Foundation Art Study Center in Greenwich, CT. Containing installations, paintings, photographs and drawings from the years 1982 – 2012, the show did it’s best to keep revelers inside. Outside however, a fashionable crowd of art world luminaries celebrated by drinking champagne and feasting on lamb on the Foundation’s open green pastures.
