Go toTailor. It’s Friday and you need a plan for the weekend. Recently opened, Tailor, is run by Sam Mason, a former pastry chef at wd-50. The restaurant opened in August, which means it has had time to settle, normally when you go to a restaurant in the first month you end up hating it because they cannot get their act together. If you’re looking for exotic sweet combinations this could be your spot, for starters try the Blood & Sand, a sort “scotch Manhattan” topped with bitter orange foam. Their menu blends the salt and sweet, such as the miso-butterscotch pork belly or the cocoa-dusted foie gras. Enjoy. Let us know what you think.
