Snow Peak Garden Dining Table

A backyard essential

It’d be Interesting to See How This Would Hold Up After a Year in Public

Nice work from Bharat Bhargava who answers the question How can design be used to change and improve perceptions about shared spaces? with a Lamp-Bicycle-Bench:

“The combined functionality allows for social interaction amongst strangers. It offers opportunities and encourages fitmess in the outdoors for free and is accessible by all. Using human power, this strategy also addresses ownership issues by allowing users to pedal to power their neighbourhood park lighting.”

Just Hanging Out, Floating in the Living Room

The Balloon Bench by h220430

This bench was visually inspired by the feeling of floating that the main character felt in the French movie, “Le Ballon Rouge”(1953).

In reality the bench is suspended from the ceiling by 4 anchors concealed by the balloon shapes. This creates the illusion of the bench being lifted by balloons.
