it’s not your ordinary tailor

Go toTailor. It’s Friday and you need a plan for the weekend. Recently opened, Tailor, is run by Sam Mason, a former pastry chef at wd-50. The restaurant opened in August, which means it has had time to settle, normally when you go to a restaurant in the first month you end up hating it because they cannot get their act together. If you’re looking for exotic sweet combinations this could be your spot, for starters try the Blood & Sand, a sort “scotch Manhattan” topped with bitter orange foam. Their menu blends the salt and sweet, such as the miso-butterscotch pork belly or the cocoa-dusted foie gras. Enjoy. Let us know what you think.

Those who love the taste combination of savory and sweet should be buying the new Vosges chocolate bar by the case. Vosges, newest bar combines deep milk chocolate with crunchy bacon. That’s right: every carnivore’s favorite breakfast meat mixed with chocolate. And guess what? It’s delicious.

say hello to my little friend

jackdanielschocolate.jpg

“Double cooked for extra flavour, this mouth-watering fudge is seriously addictive and makes a tasty treat for your loved ones. Most of the alcohol is evaporated off in the manufacturing process, yet the age old, unforgettable taste of Jack will still tingle your taste buds when sampling this delicious fudge!” So your not getting really drunk but you smell like a drunk on a chocolate binge. Nice! We had the J.D. cake here at the twbe headquarters, and lets just say you do get a buzz, or you wish you had a buzz, or better yet, you having flashbacks to the black-out days of drinking Jack in your best friend’s basement and kicking walls. The good old days. Buy it here.

yum. french fries, smothered in cheese curd and gravy

You can eat them at The Inn at Little West 12th (7 9th ave. NYC). This Canadian style restaurant features the traditional dish of French Fries with Cheese curd and gravy. The World’s Best thing to eat after you have drank way too much. The only bad thing…..the meatpacking district.
