Check out Lance Mountain’s banner. Lance—one of the best—has had this Varifex banner since ‘81. From time to time people added their name to it. Check out his site for the detail shots. I can’t tell you when the site was last updated( it uses frames) but the history is worth it.

Totalities opens this Thursday and runs through the 18th of October at Deitch Projects’ Wooster space. It will be good.

Katy Horan has a solo exhibition “In the Deep Dark…” which opens Friday, Sept 5 at San Jose’s Anno Domini gallery. Her art is influenced by folk art, and the figurative work revolves around themes of magic, domestic arts and femininity. Katy’s art is playful and fairy-tale like, while at the same time exploring the idea of the traditional feminine vs the sacred feminine.
