Growing Llardro’s seemed old but, maybe now that I am older I see the appeal. Or maybe Jaime Hayon’s direction changed my mind? This awesome lamp with the gold touch nose activation is very cool.

We told you a while back that LLardro was making some noise…

Lladro recently presented two of the latest editions in their Re-Cyclos collection at the Future Perfect in Brooklyn. The first series, by the British design team Committee, explored the evolution of love with three sets of porcelain figurines covered in a growing sea of ceramic flowers. Other re-interpretations of Lladros’ classics by Committee included Elephants Walking and The Monkey. Bodo Sperlein presented Equus, a collection of tableware that incorporated body parts from Lladro’s famous horses into each design. The presentation included a tea set, butter dish, letter opener and magnifying glass.
