Famous Dave’s Chicken Tenders Platter in Calhoun Square in Minneapolis. I know what you’re thinking, ‘But Llew, this is gross and why did you pick a shitty chain restaurant?’ Welp, you’re wrong on all counts. These golden crisp peppery beauties descended from the chicky gods themselves. That’s not all: The platter comes with thick cut ‘lodge’ fries that make you feel like a logger about to have his last supper. Don’t forget about the beautiful ambience that Dave has set up for you—it’s a cross between a gaudy Minnesota cabin and a Hoarders episode where someone can’t stop collecting dead animals and old fishing equipment. Upon entering the establishment you are greeted by all of Dave’s plastic barbecue trophies he’s received over the years. This may seem pretentious but he deserves it, after all he graduated from Harvard with a Master’s degree without even having an undergrad degree. One word for this man: Hustler. And the tenders are delish.”
