mad skills Danny MacAskill


Have you seen him? Danny MacAskill is a Scottish freestyle BMX, Trail rider sponsored by Inspired Bicycles Ltd. This video was released in April of this year. All I have to say is its sick!

  • description: Danny MacAskill is a Scottish Freestyle BMX pro rider for Inspired Bicycles Ltd.[1] He released a five-and-a-half-minute stunt cycling video on YouTube on the 19th April 2009, filmed by his flat mate Dave Sowerby. The video featured stunts by MacAskill set to music of the American rock band Band of Horses and their song The Funeral.[2] As of 21 April 2009, Danny, a twenty-three year old from the Isle of Skye, had been practicing for more than 12 years. He gave up his job as a mechanic so he could ride full time.[2] He now lives in Edinburgh. He often listens to music while riding.[3] In June 2009, Danny appeared in the music video for Doves' single "Winter Hill".[4]

    but he doesn’t ride a bmx, he rides street trial.

    I swear when I checked his wiki page when I wrote this it said BMX, I stand corrected, or it might have been the beer I was drinking…..
