The Sports Illustrated Archive

Sports Illustrated has opened up their archives and made them free for public viewing. After all, that is what the internet is for.  My first search was for a shot of Terrapin legend, Len Bias.  Have a look around the site, it is a great research tool for everything from sports to the next streetwear phenomenon.

I am trying to find a picture or pictures from the Giant-Colts sudden death overtime game in 1958. I was an usher on the field and was in many of the tv clips used to promote football after that game. I was standing near the left pylon when Alan Ameche scored the wining touchdown, I saw Neil Kiefer on The Today show and when he took the famous picture from in back of the goal posts I was standing within a 100 feet of him. I thought it would be cool to celbrate the 50th anniversary with a picture on the back of a jacket saying I was there , but so far no luck. i would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer and if Mr. Liefers email is avaiable I could touch base with him, Your consideration is appreciated.
